I am a PhD researcher in human-computer interaction at the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University, supervised by Carla Griggio and Niels van Berkel.
My current work examines the sociotechnical dynamics of communication and collaboration around healthcare in online ecologies. I conduct empirical studies to evaluate how people navigate digital ecosystems and their constraints, and the adaptive strategies they develop to maintain (dis)communication within digital health contexts.
Prior to my PhD, I spent over six years in industry as a senior strategic design researcher, leading human-centered research to shape innovation and inform macro-level strategies for global clients across tech, lifestyle, and beyond. I hold an MA in Intercultural Communication from Shanghai International Studies University, where I focused on computer-mediated communication and interpersonal dynamics.
My research is ultimately about understanding people and the cultural and technical contexts that shape them. I am always happy to chat about HCI, CSCW, computer-mediated communication, or really anything related to human behavior. Feel free to reach out.
